Cow Housing 

Short-term or long-term, we can care for your investment to help you reach your individual goals. Cows are housed in either large sand-bedded tie stalls or one of our 7 box stalls. We can facilitate the perfect option to accommodate your show or Flush cow. All animals have daily access to an outdoor yard and a large pasture, weather permitting. Routine Veterinary care, nutrition, and hoof care are provided by trusted industry providers.  Cow health is our number one priority and at Smith-Crest, we treat your cows like our own!

Show Preparation

We specialize in caring for your cow to take her to the next level. We have a separate pasture for show cows at night and cows are under fans during the day. We feed individual rations and personalized top dress options to have limitless potential for your show animals.  Team Smith-Crest is invested in your success and do our best to accommodate any sale or show that you wish to exhibit your cow at! We professionally present your investment to give you the greatest chance of success!

IVF & Flushing 

Our services include housing ET or IVF cows. We work closely with the Trans Ova Satellite Center at Red Carpet Holsteins to meet your IVF needs. A trailer from Smith-Crest travels to Red Carpet biweekly. We also work with Sunshine Genetics in Whitewater, Wisconsin for ET or IVF needs. Working directly with you to advance your genetic goals is part of the care at Smith-Crest!

Heifer Housing 

While we specialize in cow care at Smith-Crest we do recommend heifer boarding services with our partners Matthew and Elizabeth Gunst in Hartford, WI. The Gunst family has a large heifer facility that can house either genetic or show animals. Matthew and Elizabeth offer individualized care when it comes to dietary needs and goals.
